Account Registration and Use

Account Creation:

  1. Clients must provide accurate and up-to-date information, including their name, email, phone number, and in the future, their birthday.
  2. There are currently no age restrictions for account creation, but the platform will not sell discount cards to minors.

Account Security:

  1. Client accounts are protected by safe, encrypted premium servers.
  2. If clients suspect unauthorized access to their account, they must immediately contact customer support.

Services and Usage

Service Scope:

  1. The Albania Unlocked platform provides exclusive discounts, personally curated itineraries, and in the future, a travel planner.
  2. Clients are entitled to one-time discounts for each business, with no limit on the time period for using these discounts.

Discount Cards:

  1. Clients can purchase discount cards through physical POS systems (partners) and stands around the country. Online purchases will be available in the near future.
  2. To activate the discount card, clients must tap the card on their phone (with NFC enabled) and fill out the registration form to gain access to the platform.
  3. Businesses may ask clients to verify their discount by tapping their card on the phone to confirm the discount.

Payments and Transactions

Payment Methods:

  1. Currently, clients can pay for discount cards with cash and card. Online payment methods will be available in the future.
  2. If a client is unsatisfied with the service and can provide proof that they were not served the discount, they are entitled to a full refund on the card by submitting the proof to customer support.

Transaction Security:

  1. Online transactions will be secured by third-party payment solutions with extensive security policies once available.
  2. Clients’ payment details are not stored on the platform.

Personal Data and Privacy

Data Collection:

  1. During registration and use of the platform, the personal data collected includes name, phone number, email, birthday, and feedback.

Data Protection:

  1. All collected data is stored on secure servers to ensure protection.

Data Sharing:

  1. Client data may be shared with partner businesses. In the future, data may be used to target similar audiences on Meta or Google.

User Responsibilities

Accurate Information:

  1. Clients are required to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and use of the platform.
  2. Providing false information may result in being banned from the platform and losing access to customer support.

Platform Conduct:

  1. Clients must be respectful to the businesses they visit. Rude behavior may result in being denied services by the business.
  2. Clients should not exploit the system by lying and must be aware that each discount is available only once.

Dispute Resolution:

  1. Disputes between clients and the platform will be resolved through customer support protocols that will be implemented soon.

Modification of Terms

Updates to Terms:

  1. Clients will be informed of changes to the terms and conditions via email.
  2. There will be a notice period of 2 weeks before changes take effect.

Liability and Indemnification

Platform Liability:

  1. The platform’s liability towards clients is limited to providing a full refund for their purchase if the service was not delivered as promised.
  2. Please note that while we aim to provide access to 200 businesses, 40 guided itineraries, and a comprehensive travel planner, these numbers represent our goals and ongoing efforts. The rollout of these features is a continuous process, and actual availability may vary as we expand and develop our offerings. Albania Unlocked is not liable for any discrepancies in the numbers of businesses, itineraries, or other services listed in the packaging of the card. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work towards providing the best possible experience for our customers.

Indemnification:

  1. Clients are not required to indemnify the platform for any specific issues.

Governing Law

Legal Compliance:

  1. The terms and conditions for clients using the platform are governed by Albanian Civil Law.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Albania Unlocked.
By registering and participating as a business partner on our platform, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
These terms govern your access to and use of our services.

2. Business Registration and Membership

2.1 Requirements for Registration Businesses must provide goods or services related to tourism in Albania and be willing to offer discounts to Albania Unlocked users.
2.2 Membership Fees There are no registration or membership fees for businesses joining the platform.
2.3 Registration Process Businesses must sign up through a special link, accept the terms and conditions, review the profile we have created, and confirm its accuracy.

3. Use of Platform Services

3.1 Services and Benefits Access to a dashboard with analytics on traffic and customer details. Increased client base and revenue through platform exposure.
3.2 Limitations and Restrictions Businesses must honor their commitments to provide discounts and may face restrictions or penalties if they fail to meet these obligations.

4. Business Obligations and Responsibilities

4.1 Responsibilities Businesses must provide the agreed discounts and verify that clients have active discounts through the platform.
4.2 Guidelines and Standards Businesses must not discriminate against clients using discounts and must maintain a high standard of service.
4.3 Handling Customer Complaints Businesses should inform customers that they can contact Albania Unlocked for support. Minor issues should still result in service provision.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership of Content Content uploaded by businesses, including images and descriptions, is jointly owned by the business and Albania Unlocked, especially if the images are publicly available and edited by our team.
5.2 Restrictions on Content There are no specific restrictions on the type of content businesses can upload, provided it is legal and appropriate.

6. Data Privacy and Security

6.1 Privacy and Security Measures Business data is stored on secure servers to ensure privacy and security.
6.2 Data Protection Compliance Businesses are not required to comply with specific data protection regulations beyond standard privacy practices.

7. Payments and Transactions

7.1 Payment Processing Payments between businesses and customers are handled at the discretion of the business.
7.2 Transaction Fees There are no transaction fees applicable to payments between businesses and customers.

8. Termination and Suspension

8.1 Account Termination or Suspension Accounts may be terminated or suspended if businesses do not adhere to their obligations or if there are repeated negative feedback instances.
8.2 Termination Process Businesses can request account termination by contacting us via email.

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1 Handling Disputes Disputes will be handled with the assistance of legal counsel if necessary. Businesses failing to meet obligations may cause harm to our business model.
9.2 Dispute Resolution Process A formal dispute resolution process will be developed after legal consultation.

10. Modification of Terms

10.1 Notification of Changes Businesses will be informed of changes to the terms and conditions via call or email and must approve the changes.
10.2 Notice Period A notice period of two weeks is given before changes take effect.

11. Liability and Indemnification

11.1 Platform Liability Albania Unlocked is not liable for any issues arising from the business’s participation, as no payments are made to the platform by the businesses.
11.2 Business Indemnification Businesses are not required to indemnify the platform for specific issues.

12. Governing Law

12.1 Applicable Law These terms and conditions are governed by the commercial laws of Albania.
